The Best Art Is Birthed From Madness

I was in the depths of youtube the other day and came across something that made me feel more hopeful for my creative future than any 'Pick-me-up' quote ever told to me.
"You're just an artist that hasn't found their outlet yet."
In a moment that I was doubting myself, wondering if the content I create is even worth sharing, what are the odds that she was thinking the same thing?
She continued to talk about how some of the people who make the best types of art are usually a bit mad. And how they channel that energy whether it be anger, sadness, fear, or frustration into what they do to create art.
This person has the same problem of overthinking as me and always looks for the deeper meaning behind everything. instead of seeing it as a major flaw in her personality she wants to try and see it as an opportunity to channel it into creating vlogs. Even though vlogging or blogging isn't considered art, it is definitely an outlet for creativity.
There is always room for improvement and I can always be better or do better. I am, and always will be, my biggest critic. My head is always thinking and sometimes it's good because I haven't *knock on wood* run out of blog post ideas, I just never seemed to look at my overthinking in a different point of view. I can't let these thought build up so I have to channel it into blogging, there are good days and there are bad days, of course.
Van Gogh ate yellow paint to be happy, J.K. Rowling was severely depressed before writing Harry Potter, they were artists and the best kinds of art are birthed from the heaviest of emotions or the deepest thoughts. Instead of hitting rock bottom to find what you love, look at your flaws and quirks in a different point of view because it could lead you to what makes you happiest.
