Fake Food In Furniture Stores Mesmerises Me

  A weird topic I know, but my friend was in town the other day visiting me and I had nowhere to take them after the movies(we watched TombRaider and I will be writing a review tomorrow). I love being a host and planning the best days ever for people I care about, but I had no idea where we could spend the rest of our day together.

  They asked me, "Well you had to have been somewhere you enjoyed around here." and it popped into my head, I just bought my mattress from a furniture store a week prior. I told them we could go there and I think my speech on how the fake food they sell mesmerizes me sold them. 

  We walked in and right there on the living room set-up was a fake bowl of popcorn accompanied by fake soda, I picked it up and handed it to my friend and they just laughed. The fake food ranged from $9.00 to $39.99, and I can't even begin to explain why I would love to own a fake bowl of popcorn and iced tea but it brings me joy and that's valid enough for me. 

  We walked around for a while longer sitting on different couches making up backstories for people who would own them, it was really fun actually. We decided that the softest grey sofa was definitely a grandma that knits all day long. And the leather sofa set was definitely made for an old man's study, a glass of whiskey on the table and wall of law books to the left.

  Moral of this story, you can make something as boring as a furniture store fun if you try. And of course, fake food makes no sense but I'm still saving up for some fake popcorn!
