Earlier this month I described myself a "movie-enthusiast" and wrote about the movies I planned on watching this month, here are my honest reviews of the movies and I hope you enjoy!

When We First Met

I wanted to watch this movie because I went on a sci-fi binge and felt like I needed a rom-com in my life. This movie was really great and actually wasn't like what I expected it to be. Even the actor and actress I wasn't familiar with, Shelley Henning and King Bach, did an amazing job at bringing the movie just enough "funny best friend" vibes. A great rom-com for a chill night!

Lady Bird

This was a really great movie and carries such a Juno vibe. Saoirse Ronan is one of my favorite actresses and she made this movie great, I loved it for being real too. The film puts an emphasis on teenagers trying to find themselves through other people and going through really emotional roller coasters. I loved how they showed how trying relationships with parents can be during a time when teenagers are turning into independent adults. It was a great movie and I can see myself watching it again and again.

Jumanji

As I said before, I'm really against remakes because they can never do the original justice. But Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle was hilarious, loving, and reminiscent. I really don't have anything else to say because I'm just so pleasantly surprised at how good it was, even though it will never compare to the original, it is definitely great in its own way.
