My First Blog Post!

Given this is my first blog post, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Mia Mason and I am seventeen years old.I am taking the "12 Days Of Christmas Blogging Challenge" because of this amazing program I was accepted into! The program is called Praxis and I already know that it's going to change my life and professional growth for the better. It's a six month professional bootcamp and a six month apprenticeship that gives you the experience and skills to land a job. The application process was, and I'm not going to lie, pretty difficult. But in the best way possible! It gave me just a glips at the experience I'm going to have while in the program.

I have been homeschooled most of my life and love the freedom it has given me. I have been travleing with my family across the country for three years seeing family and visiting places I wouldn't have time to if I were in public school. We drove to New York for my birthday this year and I got to visit Ellis Island and centeral park. I shed a few tears at the 9/11 memorial and walked through Times Square at midnight. I will never forget how lucky I was to have gone and seen the city that never sleeps.

My family is visiting and we are going to DisneyWorld and Universal Studios! So my next few post's are going to be about the experiences I'll have there. Maybe I'll add some pictures too! Something I'm exited about with blogging is that I get to look back at my posts to read and see what I've done. I hope to make blogging a daily ritual to boost my productivity and creative thinking. I am going to document 2018 and see where this new blogging hobby takes me!
