My Tribe

After reading The Last Safe Investment I put a great deal of thought into who I would like to be friends with and how I can build my network around the Ideals I currently would like in a group of friends. The book describes a “tribe" as a group having no fewer than about 15 members. All of whom are close to one another. If I could create a tribe, these would be the overall personalities 5/15 of them.
I am only putting down five because they are the only ones that would greatly benefit me in my current state of being. I also couldn't think of any other personalities that I would enjoy the company of right now, but I'm sure once I build my network those gaps in my life will let themselves be known.
Person #1
Witty, spontaneous, and full of spirit! I do have someone in my life that is the essence of this description, but they live halfway across the country. I talk to them nearly every day but our schedules never quite fit together. When I'm with this person it makes me feel like I'm free from whatever talks me down in my head. They make me feel confident and happy every second I'm with them. We can go from laughing to having a deep conversation about our hopes for the world in a matter of minutes and I want another person like this in my life that is a constant. They bring out the best part of me, the happiest part of me, and I would love to have someone(that lives in the same state as me)else like this in my life.
Person #2
My 'rock', nurturing, and dependable. As much as I love to be spontaneous, I also love to have a weekend on the couch eating pizza every once in a while. This person is definitely my mom, but I'm most likely moving out next year and would like to have someone who is as much of a homebody, 'makes me dinner' type of person in my life when I leave. This person is always there for their friend and family, never makes you feel like a burden when you call wanting to talk for two hours and can make some pretty good spaghetti.
Person #3
Ahead of the game, young business professional, and somehow has it all together. I want someone like this in my life as a mentor, someone to look up to and can see myself being in a couple of years. They give me advice on my career and have a lot of connections. I hope to meet someone who is hardworking and lets me shadow the business side of their life, but to also be their friend outside of work.
Person #4
Spiritual, truth seeker, environmentalist, and humanitarian. I have never been into spirituality and 'finding the meaning of life' up until a couple years ago. I want someone who encourages me to find solace in a higher power and to get me to volunteer more often. I find that life gets a bit too much for me and I forget to see the bigger picture. This person will remind me that there's a whole world out there full of people who are happy without needing materialistic consumption and technology. I want someone to keep me grounded and, again, get me out of my head.
Person #5
The personal cheerleader, they pick me up when I fall, and always believe in me. I put myself down a lot because I have it in my head that I can always do better. We all can do better, I just end up being too hard on myself at times. I've been met with people who put on a front like they are always going to believe on me, but once I reach a goal they turn bitter. It's almost like they want me to be great, but I can never be better than them. The person I want in my life genuinely cares about my dreams and passionate pursuits. They keep my chin up and always remind me that even if I fail I know I tried my best. And if I win they don’t hold back on praising me for my efforts. I am there for them and they are there for me. They make me a better person because being with them makes me know how great it feels to have genuine support, so I never hesitate to pass it on.
