Something we all tend to look past in films is the soundtracks, the music gets your blood boiling during a fight scene, its what makes you cry, it makes montages iconic. In no particular order, I would like to share with you my favorite(and the best)movie soundtracks.

Juno

First off, Juno is one of the most underrated movies, but that's not the point of this blog post. The vibe of the soundtrack would be young, hipster, raw, and definitely one-of-a-kind. I remember having the soundtrack on m iPod Classic when I was around eight or nine and I didn't even know it was a movie soundtrack but I loved it.

The Great Gatsby

The movie sets the vibe for the songs on this one. I remember what a big deal The Great Gatsby movie being released was and I have exited it too because I was hoping it was better than the book. I had to read the book in high school and it was terrible, the whole books is just about symbolism and you don't really connect with the characters. I'm off topic, sorry. The soundtrack is truly a work of art, its dramatic, haunting, just think of 1920s goth meets Evanescence. It's really great and I hope my description does it justice, but I don't recommend wasting three hours on the movie.

Forrest Gump

Nobody can argue with me on this one, it is just amazing. And like I said, without this soundtrack, the movie would have been dull, anti-climatic, and all around not as good. The soundtrack makes it all flow together and is killer on its own. I highly recommend listening to it on a long drive, you will feel like your in a montage.

The Breakfast Club

This movie is a classic and the soundtrack is iconic. It’s very grungy, light-hearted, and fun. I love this soundtrack to death and I'm surprised that I don't hate it after hearing it so many times!

Footloose

How could I not add this one? I can't help but dance to this everytime I watch the movie, it really is an amazing soundtrack to dance to. Whenever I put this movie on I can hear what modern-day music took from the 80's!

Dirty Dancing

I have seen this movie too many time to count and the main reason is the soundtrack. This soundtrack makes you feel like your in the movie, in love, soaking up the summer sun, and youthful. There are so many song and scenes in this movie that I make references to, it really is an amazing movie and it has some the best songs in it.

Those are some of my favorite movie soundtracks! I hope you enjoyed and have spare time to listen to some of them. If you didn't see one of you're favorite movie soundtracks feel free to mention your own in the comments!
