The Weirdest Movie I Have Ever Seen

This isn’t a movie that makes you cringe from second hand awkwardness. This movie makes you question the sanity of the writers, director, and definitely the actors.
Swiss Army Man
Hank(Paul Dano)is stranded on a deserted island and given up all hope. Everything changes when a corpse named Manny(Daniel Radcliffe) washes ashore. The two become friends , and go on an epic adventure to bring Hank back to the woman of his dreams.
This movie got really weird really quick. I paused it multiple times, jaw to the floor, just to wonder why little Harry Potter would sign up for this role. He legitimately played a rotting corpse(exceptionally well)in the film and has a bromance with the guy that found him washed up on the beach.
I nearly forgot to mention why the movie is called Swiss Army Man, Daniel Radcliffe's character has ‘super powers’. Yes, you read that right, a dead body with powers. He can vomit an absurd amount of water to quench Hanks(Paul Dano) thirst, he also has fire starting fingers, and many more...
A review on Amazon states,
“On the surface, this movie isn’t much more than two guys doing pretty random things in the forest with low-blow humor thrown in. However, if anyone wants to watch this film I urge you to pay close attention to their conversations regarding thing’s we as society deem normal and what thing’s we see as weird. In my opinion, there’s symbolism and a lot of metaphors in here that can be applied to our own lives.”
Overall, the character casting couldn’t be anymore perfect and the aesthetic shots in the film are amazing. This movie isn’t for everyone, especially those who would prefer to keep any memory of Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter and not a decomposing body with the ability to throw up water when your thirsty.
